General Course Information


Parking:

  • 2 Car & Coach Parks are provided free of charge
  • Helicopter Landing Site available with prior permission only
  • 125 Stabling Boxes with overnight boarding available on request contact the Secretary's Office on 064 6631125

Toilets are located at the following areas:
  • Ground Floor of Maurice O'Donoghue Stand
  • 1st Floor of Maurice O'Donoghue Stand
  • Jim Culloty Bar
  • Adjacent to the Betting Ring
  • Racegoers Club Bar
Bar Facilities:
  • The Jim Culloty Bar is the Punters Favourite with a snack bar which has a wide selection of main course options and light food offerings. Live music after racing each day ensures that the Jim Culloty Bar is heaving long after racing.
  • The Maurice O'Donoghue Stand Bar is the ideal spot for those who want a birds-eye view of the winning line while having a bevy or two. This bar is also popular with groups who wish to have a base during our busy festivals with Tote facilities, ladies and gents toilets and light snack offerings available also.
  • The Owners & Trainers Bar is ideally situated on the ground level of the Grand Stand. With a slightly elevated view of the parade ring and racetrack the Owners & Trainers Bar is a guaranteed Winner Alright for all connections.
  • The Racegoers Club Bar is a luxury private bar facility located adjacent to the parade ring provided for racegoers club members on all racedays.
  • The Sponsors Bar is located on the first floor of the Grand Stand. This glass fronted facility offers sponsors and guests an aerial view of the scenic racecourse. It is centrally located adjacent to the Betting Ring and a stone throw from the Parade Ring for presentations to winning connections.

Restaurant & Dining Facilities:
  • The Maurice O'Donoghue Stand offers patrons a selection of light bites on both the Ground & First Floor levels.
  • The Jim Culloty Bar has a traditional carvery restaurant with a wide choice of main course options. This dining facility also offers a vast selection of soups, sandwiches, scones and pastries.
  • The Chip Shop is a popular choice for many punters who want to enjoy a tasty bite on the go and a regular fuel-stop for many racegoers after the last before they hit Killarney where the party goes on until late.
  • The Corporate Suite is a superb glass fronted restaurant overlooking the racecourse. The private balcony further ensures a panoramic view of the parade ring, the on-course action and the picturesque natural backdrop for which Kerry is famous. Bottles & Glasses:
For the safety of our patrons Killarney request that glasses and bottles are not brought outside the designated bar areas.

The Racegoers Club is group of patrons who pay a membership fee of €250 per annum. The benefit of membership includes 2 admission tickets to all 11 meetings at Killarney Races each season. Membership is also complimented by the private member's trackside bar with spectacular viewing of the parade ring and the racetrack.

Wheelchair Facilities:
Wheelchair toilet facilities are available in all main blocks. There are also unisex facilities available in the entrance building adjacent to the Secretary's Office. A raised viewing platform is also situated in front of the Grandstand.

Lost Property:
All lost property is returned to the Secretary's Office where it is held for a number of months after which time items will be donated to a local charity. The Secretary's Office can be contacted on 064 6631125.

Medical Centre:
Situated adjacent to the Secretary's Office on the Ground Floor of The Maurice O'Donoghue Stand.

Lost Children:
Lost children should be taken to the Secretary's Office where they will be reunited with their guardians.

Smoking Policy:
All workplaces are smoke free. Smoking is prohibited throughout the grandstand and in all indoor areas. This policy applies to all race goers and staff. Smoking is permitted in outdoor areas.

Banking Facilities:
Unfortunately we do not have an ATM facility on site, however, the Secretary's Office can provide a limited laser facility. Our Corporate Suite offers a laser and credit card facility.

Opening Times:
The gates and all facilities open to the public 2 hours prior to the first race each day.

General Admission - €15 - €20
Senior Citizens - €12 (with valid ID)
Students - €12 (with valid ID)
Children U-12 - FREE (when accompanied by an adult)
Punters Package - €25 (pre-book only for groups of 10+)
Hospitality Packages - €45, €80, €90
